The body of this stein has been designed with man's best friend in mind. Raised-relief dog tags, leashes, bones, bowls and doghouses appear around the main subject panels. Incised dog paw prints help to frame these two main areas. The handle is in the shape of a raw hide chewbone. The pewter lid says "Faithful Friend" with a dog paw print and a features a variety of embossed dogs as the border decorations. The pewter thumblift is in the shape of a chew bone. Brown glaze accents the cream body. The left panel of this stein depicts Yellow Lab, a close-up portrait of an adult lab while the one appearing on the right side depicts two adult labs.
