General Purpose Tractor - The inspiration for this mug is a reproduction from an illustration used with a 1929 "GP" Tractor sales folder announcing the Model "GP" General Purpose Farm Tractor. This model with steel wheels was produced by Deere and Company from 1928-1935. Using the original illustration, we now feature a counterpart view showing the other side of the tractor.
2000 Logo - The newest John Deere trademark introduced in 2000 appears twice, on the front and back of this mug.
1968 Iron Horse Logo - The 1968 Deere & Company trademark with the phrase "NOTHING RUNS LIKE A DEERE" decorates one side of the mug. On the other side is a Model 4640 Tractor produced from 1978-1982. These new tractors were made with more horsepower, more iron, and internal structural changes to back up the power increases, thus becoming one of the "Iron Horses" as depicted on the mug.
