This hand painted, raised-relief stein commemorates the completion of the first trans-continental railway line in the United States. The stein features the Jupiter engine of the Central-Pacific Railway, Engine No. 119 of the Union-Pacific Railway, and a gold spike signifying the completion of the line at Promontory Point, Utah on May 10, 1869. Limited edition of 4,000 registered and individually numbered pieces. A pewter engine figurine rests on tracks, and is on the lid.
